I received the Producer's Choice Award at the Metropolitan Fashion Week Costume Design Competition held at the Original Farmer's Market in Los Angeles . The challenge was to create a period costume using candy as the key embellishment. I used gum balls cut in half and mini jaw breakers to create intricate beadwork all over the gown.
