I was commissioned to design an avant-garde look that would anchor the theme of an art showcase curated by photographer Dennis Covey. I immediately knew that I wanted to create something dark and regal, with rich textiles and exquisite details. I will be forever grateful to my pattern maker Amarylis Espinal, and sample maker Tina Gomez, for their unconditional dedication to this undertaking and all of its challenges. To this day, it is my greatest accomplishment in costume design. #yourheartbelongstoher
